Day 3 - Inland


Travel north on A3 for approximately 10km and turn left on the lake Leake Highway B34.

Flatrock Lookout: (19km from Swansea) looks over Oyster Bay giving panoramic views of the entire area.

Meetus Falls: (40km from Swansea) is next, turn fight off the highway at the Lake Leake information booth follow the signs. Access is on weekends and public holidays, as log trucks use the road on weekdays. Can be accessed during the week as generally not used by log trucks. However always be vigilant just in case you come across a ”stray one”

Lake Leake: is a popular trout fishing and picnic spot, barbecues available near the lake.

Evansville: to the left is a holiday bush land and game farm; trout fishing in several extensive private lakes is available.

Campbell Town: an interesting historic town connects you with the Midlands Highway.

Ross: Historic bridge and building, craft shops and ruins of the women's prison.

Oatlands: Historic town located on the shores of Lake Dulverton, Georgian Buildings.

Lake Yalleena: at Lake Leake for the opportunity to go trout fishing all year round on a private lake.
