The property is situated down a quiet laneway between the main road (Tasman Highway) and the beach, just around the corner from shops, restaurant and local attractions and 50 metres to the Swansea Barkmill Tavern.  The cottages are set in a village like setting on 1 hectare of level ground and are all surrounded by fragrant cottage gardens.  The first cottage were built in 1991 with others c1994 Dove and Bayview and c1998 Sherbourne Lodge and are designed to recapture the very essence of heritage architecture with dormer windows in some, rolled verandahs, corner quoins and colonial style windows all highlighted in rich heritage colours.  Stroll over the bank onto the beach and take in the view of Freycinet National Park across the water.

Booking & Cancellation Policy

Please advise us of your Name, Address and Telephone Number upon making a booking.  A deposit for one nights accommodation in the case of multiple night stays, or 50% of the total cost for a one night stay is required within 10 days of booking to secure your booking.  Bookings may be automatically cancelled if a deposit is not received within this time.  The deposit is refundable, provided 14 days notice is given prior to arrival date, less a $20 cancellation fee.

The deposit may be sent in the form of an Australian Postal Order, cheque, made payable to Swansea Cottages, or Credit Card Details sent via email, telephone or fax.  Please supply your credit card number, expiry date and the actual name on the card and home address. State if you would like a receipt and brochure.

We also strongly advise that guests consider taking out travel insurance to safe guard against unexpected circumstances that may arise both before and during your travel to Tasmania."
