East Coast Heritage Museum
Alamat: 22 Franklin Street, Swansea, Tasmania, 7190, Australia .Located in the original Swansea schoolhouse on the corner of Franklin and Noyes Streets, the East Coast Heritage museum brings the history of Swansea and the Glamorgan Spring Bay region to life.
The museum's displays explore Tasmanian Aboriginal heritage, early European settlement, convict and whaling history, rural and community life, military memorabilia and significant local families. The building also incorporates the Swansea War Memorial and the Glamorgan Spring Bay Historical Society.
The museum is currently open Monday to Friday from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm and is closed on public holidays. Group visits and opening outside of regular hours may be arranged in advance. Please check current opening times before visiting or telephone (03) 6256 5066.
Jubilee Beach

The jetty or Pier also allows for fishing with a wide range of fish often caught from flat head, trevalley, bream, cod, salmon, squid etc to name but a a few varieties that inhabit and move around the bay.

Beginning at Waterloo Beach, the track follows the coastline around Waterloo Point before reaching Schouten Beach. Waterloo Point was the location of Swansea’s first European settlement in 1827, while the walk takes its name from the local Aboriginal people.
The track passes through a seasonal short-tailed shearwater, or muttonbird, breeding area and includes interpretive signs describing the area’s natural and cultural history.

Milton Vineyard

Spiky Bridge
Alamat: Tasman Highway, Spiky Bridge, Swansea, Tasmania 7190, Australia .Spiky Bridge is one of Tasmania’s most distinctive convict-built landmarks, located approximately 7.5 kilometres south of Swansea on the Tasman Highway.
Built in 1843 by a convict road gang, the bridge was constructed from local fieldstones laid without mortar or cement. Upright stones along its parapet create the unusual spiky appearance from which the bridge takes its name.
Visitors can view the bridge, read the nearby interpretation signs and see the remains of the former governor’s cottage on the overlooking hill.
Melshell Oyster Shack

The family-owned working farm produces superfine Merino wool and premium cool-climate wines from its nine-hectare vineyard. Visitors can enjoy wine tastings, a glass of wine, curated Tasmanian produce platters during the week and wood-fired pizzas on weekends.

Historic Kelvedon Boat Shed

Situated on Shelly Point at the southern end of Kelvedon Beach, the historic boat shed occupies a striking coastal setting overlooking Great Oyster Bay towards the Freycinet Peninsula and Schouten Island.
Before reliable road transport reached the area, the boat shed played an important role in the operation of Kelvedon Estate. Farm supplies arrived by sea, while wool and other produce were dispatched from this point.
The restored boat shed can be admired and photographed from the beach. Visitors should respect the historic building and surrounding private property.
